koolhaas' cool library

i wanted to see the seattle public library and fdq was, like, "the library? you want to visit the library?" this is no normal public library. we were amazed at how much is crammed into the building but still be so amazingly open.

although not all the tech features work (all the computers were down when we visited), the library does have a cool automatic book handling system. and nice/helpful librarians.
